Innovation Consortium (HIC) are a digital health and care agency with a mission to

implement, adopt and spread technology and innovation across the NHS, health and

social care sector – Using the right technologies for the right reason at the right

time.

In this short space of time HIC have worked with NHS organisations, service

providers, commissioners and innovators in establishing their various innovations

within and across the health and care sector. In October 2022 HIC have now

stemmed their mission internationally by introducing their International Accelerator

Programme (IAP).

A unique service that has been designed with patient care at the centre. The aim of IAP is to bring technology into the UK from across the globe, to become a beacon of innovation whilst facilitating International Trade. The IAP has been crafted to ensure suppliers and their technologies have a structured roadmap – minimising the risk of market failure and maximising market success.

The exponential growth of HIC has led them to officially launch the company at the

House of Commons on the 29 th of November 2022. Sponsored by three digital health

suppliers, Xerox, Me Learning and Radar Healthcare, their Parliamentary Launch will

celebrate the launch of HIC as well as the acceleration of digital innovation in health

and care with over 140 delegates across the health and care sector, from CIOs,

CCIOs, directors of, suppliers and MPs.

No event would be complete without an array of guest speakers. The event will begin

with an introductory speech from the events supporting MP, Sir Graham Brady and

involve inspirational talks throughout from senior c-suite opinion leaders including

Prof. Sam Shah and leaders in genomic medicine, Stuart Bayliss and Neville

Gaukroger.
