SPINAL CLINICAL EDUCATION EVENTS COORDINATING MANAGER- Geneva and surrounding areas, Switzerland or Swiss /French Border

This is a great opportunity for someone with amazing organisational and event management skills who has been used to coordinating Medical / Clinical Events ideally in the spine or Orthopedic field. This may suit a Product Specialist, Marketing Communications Coordinator or Clinical Specialist looking for a move. My client is a leading organisation in the medical devices area in Spine focused designing, developing and promoting solutions to spine surgeons, operating room teams, and patients. They are pioneers and their products, which are sold Globally , are unique in the field of Minimally Invasive Surgery. The team are expanding and looking for a Clinical Education Events Coordinating Manager to work alongside the Clinical Education Director and spinal surgeons in helping facilitate the organisation and effective delivery of surgeon education events.

The candidate will need to be located in or around Geneva in Switzerland or near the Swiss French border and willing to travel and work in Geneva as required. This role carries 25% travel requirements across Europe - Spain, UK, Germany , France and other countries

Whilst you must have knowledge of spine you are really not expected to be an expert at all. This is a role where your organisational and event coordination skills are most important. That and your ability to liaise with spinal surgeons and represent the brand in a professional manner. You will be attending surgical events so you will need a strong stomach !!!!

Your main responsibilities will be the following:

• You will report to the Clinical Education Director Europe and have close links with Product and Marketing and Events.

• Attend, organize , plan, lead, attend and run events , anatomical laboratories and conferences in collaboration with the event team in the Europe market.

• Organize global peer to peer visits and provide occasional surgery support on all our product range.

• Organize global educational sponsorship activities, represent the company and provide support during the events.

• Define, track and report on KPIs and return on investment for the various projects

• Organise local events

• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders (Global Product Managers, Local teams

• Develop Key Opinion Leader relationships and network to support Education purposes and to encourage strong brand awareness , customer satisfaction and brand loyalty.

• There will be 25% travel across Europe with this role, and when not on events you will be required to work in the office in Geneva and / or work from home.

Profile:

• Experience in creating and executing educational events for Healthcare professional (HCP)

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar role and/or in role with interaction with HCP

• Experience in Spine surgery support.

• Fluent English. French a strong plus. Spanish/German a plus.

• Structured and organized personality.

• Excellent presentation and writing skills .

• Self-drive, adaptable to change and capable of managing several projects simultaneously (strong prioritization capabilities)

• Strong problem-solving skills, be able to demonstrate initiative, and ability to learn

• The candidate must be based (or willing to relocate) in the Geneva area and be able to travel multiple days consecutively for events (according to needs, around twice a month).
