I am currently hiring for an R&D Manager to build a brand-new facility in San Francisco. The company are a surgical robotics business who have $200+ Million of funding. You will have responsibility for developing the US R&D Strategy and technological roadmap and will build a system which has a large focus on new and emerging technologies.

As the first hire in this facility, you will have a strong focus on the strategic roadmap of the centre, implementing and maintaining the direction to ensure research and development activities are set on course. The company already have a product that is cleared by the FDA and is well on the pathway of commercialisation.

We are looking for someone who is from a surgical robotics background, and managed teams of at least 10 people, if you are a multi-disciplinary leader who has managed software, hardware, systems engineering then you could have what it takes to do this role.

For this role, you will need to hold a PhD, have team leadership for at least 2 years and been in the industry for at least 5 years.

We can offer a basic of $130k-$200k for the right person and are looking to hire right now.
