Full Job Description
Due to developments across our Paediatric Unit, we are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our busy Paediatric Department both on the Children's Ward and Children's Outpatient Department.
The Paediatric Unit comprises of a 17 bedded Inpatient ward, 4 bedded Surgical and Medical Day case ward and a 6 bedded Paediatric Assessment and Observation ward. we also have a busy A & E and Outpatient department. There is also Paediatric Specialist Nurses services and a Children's Community nursing Outreach Team.
We are looking for proactive, innovative, and motivated Children's Health Care Assistants to join our friendly and dedicated team to provide quality nursingcare and to support our children, young people, and their families.
Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, the Health Care Assistant will work with all members of the multi disciplinary team to contribute to the provision of the highest standards of care delivery in undertaking personal care duties for children on the Children's Ward or Out patient Department
The successful candidate will be flexible, a team player and have experience of working in Child Health Services/equivalent.
