JOB PURPOSE The post holder will provide specialist knowledge, clinical informatics, advice, and guidance; working collaboratively with clinical key stakeholders to ensure patient and clinical involvement in the planning, development, delivery and evaluation of systems and services. Areas of responsibility will include nurse communication and engagement, training, and go-live support.

The overall purpose of the Digital Nurse Implementer role is to support and deliver a patient centric and outcomes based integrated care model for the Trust that is technically and financially sustainable, and to promote the effective use of data, information, knowledge, and technology to support and improve health, health research and health-care delivery.

The role of the Digital Nurse Implementer is therefore, to support Digital Services in undertaking a wide range of informatics/digital related projects, some of which may require implementation across all Clinical Services within The Christie NHS Foundation Trust. The job holder will plan, implement, and manage a portfolio of projects under the supervision of the Lead Digital Nurse Implementer & CCIO for Nursing & AHP.
